Bonne nuit
Goodnight
A wild night-time journey aboard… a bed! For children who are never tired because they still have a thousand things to experience before falling asleep.
‘Goodnight, sweetheart,’ says her mum as she leaves the bedroom. But the little girl is sulking: she doesn’t want to sleep, convinced that the day can’t end just yet. And her bed agrees! It springs into action and takes her on an incredible night-time adventure. Underwater, in a traffic jam, in a forest teeming with animals, at the top of a hill face to face with the Moon, or even in the heart of a bustling restaurant. She goes on one adventure after another, without ever leaving her bed, before returning to her bedroom. A little dishevelled, delighted and… very tired!
The wonderful Marie Mirgaine returns with a picture book with almost no text, designed for very young children who refuse to go to sleep. A road movie where the scenes unfold one after the other, as if on a stage, so that they’ll never think again that going to bed is too boring!
